Septic shock is : Still very hard to treat. Mortality averages about 29% but varies by age & overall health. A coma suggests there has been severe brain damage. That the coma has been present for 6 yrs, suggests the prognosis is not good. However there are rare instances of recovery after prolonged coma from various causes. I'm sorry.

Probably not: If she has been in a coma for the last six years due to septic shock, unfortunately, it is unlikely that she will recover. As far as i know, there are no new treatments for prolonged comas such as this.
