You sound clear: You appear to be having remarkable recovery from a very serious illness. In absence of direct damage to the brain, full memory should recover. Memory for the time you were so ill should be lost for ever - thank goodness!

Seek further help: I agree with dr. Goldie. Your illness sounds to have been catastrophic and you have made an incredible recovery. However, you should seek further input from a qualified specialist, such as a neurologist. How we store and process memory is incredibly complex and remains to be fully understood. I would also recommend searching out tools for optimizing memory on the internet.
