Depends on spots: What we term "age spots" include seborrheic keratoses (thick brown bump) and lentigoes (flat brown patch). Both are hereditary and we tend to develop more with time. They can be treated with liquid nitrogen (freezing), lasers, ipl, chemical peels, etc. Treatment choice largely depends on the number of spot and how thick they are. If they are flat sun spots, one can start with a bleaching cream.
