Yes . . . .: Expect to feel vibrations and the sensation of fluids from rinsing. Do not expect to feel any pain from the actual procedure as it is routine and predictable with good local anesthesia. Good luck!

No problem: We've dealt with many implants in the past. Patients routinely tell us that the fear and apprehension before the appointment if probably the worst part of the entire procedure. You'll be very comfortable during the process. I encourage you to contact your dentist about this issue. I'm sure you'll feel better.

Vibration not pain: You rarely feel anything with a good amount of local anesthesia. You can hear the sound and feel the vibration and water. It shouldn't be any different than getting a crown done.

SHOULD FEEL NOTHING: We place 90% of our dental implants simply with local anesthesia and have never had a patient feel any discomfort during the procedure.

Implant Pain : During the procedure, you won't feel much more than you would for a filling or anything else you have had. The only difference is that when they screw the implant into place, it can put a little bit of stress on your muscles but that doesn't really hurt. You will probably be given antibiotics and mild pain reliever for afterwards but may not need anything for pain.

No pain: Local anesthesia for this procedure is most common. You will be aware that things are being done, noises and sensation, but should not be painful at all. If it is, ask for more anesthesia. Good luck, it is worth it

YOU SHOULDN'T: Local anesthesia is always used for dental implant procedures unless you prefer to be like bill murray. If you feel anything just ask for more. I'm certain your dentist will oblige.

No: Most dental implants these days are placed with local anesthesia. If that is what has been recommended for your particular situation, then you can feel confident you will be fine.

No: If you are numb then the procedure should be as i eventful as a filling or a crown.

Not really...: You may sense pressure and vibration. Depending on your anxiety level you may perceive more than that. I would discuss this with your surgeon. Between the two of you it can decided if you need more than local anesthesia like nitrous oxide gas or intravenous sedation.

No: Once the local anesthetic has ample time to work, you should not feel any pain. Placement of a dental implant usually runs smoothly and quickly. It can take 10-15 minutes for the actual procedure sometimes. Good luck.
