I had a post put in for my dental implant. he stiched it up so i'm assuming it's there but why can't i c it. i had it done today?

The surgeon: apparently chose to allow the implant to heal below the gum. This makes it impossible to have any type of movement of the implant during the first few critical weeks of bone healing. This is often done in situations where bone grafting is bone at the same time of implant placement.
