Be patient: SCTG is a surgical procedure and is not completely risk-free. Pain, swelling, bad breath and infection and nausea following surgery is usually at its worst 24 – 48 hours after surgery. After that it should subside more and more every day and after 7 days stop. For implant surgery IV sedation is highly recommended as it will reduce post-operative pain and complications.

I had dental sedation for an implant, 19th Sept. A similar sedation was done 3months prior to this one. Since the 19th I've had a mild headache, fever and occasionally mild nausea about 2/10. I've had a course of Moxypen and am now taking Myprodol.
