Varies: There is no generally accepted protocol for whether or not to temporarily cement implant crowns. Some believe in doing that not only initially but on a permanent basis if there is a need to remove. Some dentists always prefer screw retained crowns and will not cement at all. I personally always permanently cement at final try-in. Why not if everything fits and looks perfect? Never had a problem.

No set rule...: I personally prefer to cement the crowns with temporary cement. There is a specific implant cement which is somewhere between temporary and "permanent". Allow your treating dentist to explain their rationale.
