Yes: If you received Amoxicillin for an infection then you need to see a dentist. The cause of the infection needs to be found and treated. Serious consequences can occur from relying on an antibiotic and not seeking treatment.

Not without advice: Before you begin taking any prescription medications on your own, you should see a dentist for a definitive diagnosis of your problem. An antibiotic may not solve your problem.
