Self Medication: Please do not self medicate yourself. The antibiotics will not solve your problem, which is a rotten tooth. There is absolutely no substitute for proper dental care. Even if the swelling goes down with the meds, it will come back quickly and in the end you will not only suffer more, but you will still need to see a dentist. Please call for an appointment. Pills do not fix teeth or gums.

Please see Dentist: Do Not self medicate. Antibiotic will limit spread of infection to some extent , but WILL NOT CURE an abscess. If tooth infected you will need Root Canal/Crown or Extraction/Implant/Crown. Pills alone won't do it. You need Professional Treatment learned over many years of training and experience. Before you do something harmful, see a a Dentist, now, before toothache is raging abscess.
