Blood in stool: Blood in stool test only tests for blood, not for cancer. One cause of bloody stools can be cancer. Antibiotics do not cause blood in stools.

See below: I agree with dr. Mumneh that antibiotics themselves would not cause a stool test to show blood. But if you had a form of colitis or infectious colitis, then blood could be seen on a stool test.
