Not likely.: You should avoid laying flat on your back in the last two months of pregnancy because it can decrease the venous return to your heart, causing low blood pressure and fetal distress. Having said that, a short episode at your dentist's should not cause any harm.

No: Best time to have dental rx during pregnancy is 2nd trimester. There are times, however, that rx is necessary during 1st or 3rd trimester. Just make sure your dentist knows you're pregnant before your appointment. He/she will know what to do to help you and to protect your baby.
