Should i have a root canal while pregnant? my dentist told me that i'm going to need a root canal, and i'm six months pregnant. could this cause any complications for me or my baby? should i wait until i give birth?

Your physician will identify which medications will be safe for you to take. It is better to treat dental disease before it escalates to an infection which has greater potential to be harmful to your pregnancy.

You : You should check with your obstetrician, but i dont think it is good for you or your baby for you to hava an active infection. I see no problem with your having this treatment in your third trimester. Again, check with your md.
