Amalgam: Your baby should be fine and i would not be concerned with the vapour. Amalgam has been around for several centuries and we have delivered many healthy children whose mother had silver fillings. If you are more concerned see your obgyn and after the baby is born see your dentist to get the filling made permanent.

Baby will be fine: Silver fillings have been used for over 150 years and on millions if not billions of teeth. You would think by 2013 if there was some sort of health risk, we would have known about it. Don't believe any of the unfounded claims you may read... Both of you will be fine.
