Is fraxel laser treatment also called "ablative laser resurfacing"?

Fraxel: Fraxel laser treatments are non ablative. Typically, the healing is completed in 2-3 days.

Non- ablative: Fraxel laser treatment delivers the potency of ablative treatments with the gentle safety of non-ablative lasers. So you get the best of both worlds: dramatic results and less downtime.

It's confusing...: Because the fraxel brand is now on several different types of laser. The original fraxel was a non-ablative machine. Now, they also have an ablative model - so best to specifically ask if someone says they are using a fraxel laser.
