Mini tuck: It can be a good operation in the right candidate. Sometimes liposuction can replace a tuck pending on amount of skin and whether the abdominal wall needs tightening. Se a board certified plastic surgeon.

For the right person: Mini tummy tucks (witch hazel) are not smaller versions of tummy tucks (witch hazel). They have specific indications. Like any cosmetic procedure, if you are bothered by what a mini tummy tuck can fix, then it's worth it. See a board certified plastic surgeon for more information.

For Rare Patient: In my opinion, the mini tummy tuck is an  operation that  produces very limited results and is very rarely indicated. It involves a shorter incision but does not address the majority of the abdominal wall issues present for most patients who present for consultation. Seek consultation with well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons.

Rarely...: It really depends upon whether or not your problem is mostly fat. Excess skin is poorly captured by the mini tummy tuck.

Mini-tuck: Mini-results: A mini-tummy tuck is occasionally a helpful procedure, but most patients would benefit much more from a full tummy tuck. A mini tuck only tightens skin and muscle below the belly button, not above, and cannot tighten even the lower abdomen as much as a full tummy tuck. It's useful for thin patients who may have some lower abdomen muscle bulging with good skin, or with a slight lower tummy "pooch" or skin overhang. A board certified plastic surgeon can best advise you after performing an examination.

All depends...: A mini-tummy tuck is specifically for patients who only have lower abdominal skin and muscle laxity regardless of their weight. If the person falls into this category, then yes, they are a good candidate.

Mini tummy tuck: It you have limited skin overhang of the lower tummy and you are skinny then a mini-tummy tuck would most likely be worth it. See a board certified plastic surgeon to be sure.

It's not how...: Skinny you are, it's how much loose skin that you have, which determines whether a mini tt or a regular tt would be better for you. Mini tt gives a mini result!

It can be: A mini tummy tuck is great for addressing loose skin and muscle diastasis below the belly button. If this is your only problem area it can have nice results with a smaller incision. See a local plastic surgeon who can help you determine if it is right for you.
