Remove piercing: Sounds like you have an infection. If the stud is still in your mouth see if you can remove it. Once removed you will probably need antibiotics to cure the infection. Rinse with warm salty water to help draw out the fluids or purulence of swelling and see your doctor. You may want to hold off on attempting to pierce again for a while if the hole closes.

No: Tongue piercings are bad news! it sounds like its infected. See your dr. Asap! also cracked and broken teeth are common w tongue piercings. You should have it removed.

Infection: Your mouth is a moist breading ground for bacteria. A tongue piercing offers a great opportunity for bacteria to invade your tissues. I would get medical care now- because the tonue contains major blood vessels that serve to spread the infection to other parts of the body (yes, including the brain!).
