Unrelated: Not itching and thus unlikely to be from allergies. If they don't go away after 2 weeks or get worse , see your doctor since they do not appear to pose any immediate danger.

Swollen taste buds: Please ask your General Dentist or General Physician to visualize your taste buds. May, in actuality, be normal sized valuate papillae. Chronic sinus issues (See an ENT) and allergies (see Allergist) do not cause taste-bud enlargement.
