It may depend: There are multiple factors that related to TMJ problems. Is your joint functioning normally, or is it dislocated (click/pop). Is your bite where it belongs or is it compromised (dysfunctional position). Does your bite contribute to an abnormal bite position? All of these and much more will have to be evaluated as part of your answer. Check with your dentist.

Maybe not: TMJ should not affect your face, unless you are talking about a sad face due to chronic pain. Your face should not be structurally changed by TMJ.

Most likely: your face will go back to normal once you get the proper TMJ treatment.
