I have had a dull ache and pain in the right side of my jaw, face and head for a long time now and i dont believe its tmj because ive tried treatments for that that. what else can it be the cause?

TMJ&dental pathology would be strong considerations. Paranasal sinus problems are another possibility. Your discomfort is not characteristic of trigeminal neuralgia. If you've already been evaluated by an ENT specialist and had appropriate testing and imaging, I would then get an evaluation by an oral surgeon.

Too many possibilities to list, TMJ remains on the list as some cases are refractory. Starting with a thorough ENT and dental exam would be best, including imaging if felt useful would be best.
