Can too much fluoride consumption cause cancer?

No: I have seen no study linking Fluoride to cancer. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral like calcium. Like other minerals taken in excess it is toxic. The toxic levels are well beyond any normal use.

NO: This is a myth. Despite lots of fear mongering there are no actuall studies that show a link between Fluoride and cancer. In the one and only study that showed cancer developing in male rats, the rats had been exposed to a virus that causes cancer in rats as well as exposed high Fluoride levels. Only rats with the virus developed cancer. None of the rats only exposed to Fluoride developed cancer.

No: Fluoride exists naturally in all the states through which the Rocky Mountains run. Sometimes fluoride levels are higher than what we need therapeutically. Do people living in Boseman, Cheyenne, Denver, and other Rocky Mountain cities have higher cancer levels than those in LA, Albany, New Orleans, Boston, or Topeka. NO!
