How much alcohol?: safe drinking limits in women are NO MORE than 1 standard drink/day, 7 per week and never more than 3 on one occasion. It seems you are drinking more than this, and if your friend is as well, it may complicate her treatment for her cancer. Alcohol actually can potentially increase the risks of many cancers, impair healing and damage the immune system. She needs to cut down&discuss with her doctor
