Is it possible that sugar consumption is the cause of the high rate of cancer in western civilization?

Dr. James Cunnar
26 years experience in Family Medicine
Yes: Yes, it's possible. Western diet is very high in carbohydrates compared to other cultures. There are likely many causes of higher cancer rates, not just higher carbohydrate diets.
