Typical causes are..: Snoring is serious and should be evaluated by a physician. Various typical reasons could be: decreased airway space, enlarged tongue, uvula and/or tonsils. Plus many other causes. Possibly an at home or facility sleep study needs to be performed to evaluate more thoroughly and determine if obstructive sleep apnea is present.
