Yes: He may have nasal allergies, his adenoid or tonsils may be enlarged. He may be evaluated for obstructive sleep apnea. The first step will be to see his pediatrician and may be ear nose throat (ENT) physician

Snores: Fairly common. Could be enlarged tonsils and adenoids causing sleep apnea. See an ENT to check and to decide if he needs a sleep study

Snoring: Dear Judith466: This could be a sign of obstructive sleep apnea. Your son should be evaluate by an otolaryngologist(ENT) for tonsil and adenoid hypertrophy. He should also be checked for nasal airway obstruction. Good luck!
