See below: If you have scabies you need to be treated with a topical scabicide such as 5% Permethrin cream applied from neck to toes and left on for 8-14 hours. Repeat this treatment in 1 week. The itching can take over a week to resolve during treatment. Make sure that all household and close contacts are treated. Wash all clothes and bedding and dry at 60 degrees c. Check pets for animal scabies.
