Why do i still feel itch all over my body even after scabies treatment? should i consult a doctor or will it go by itself ? i have applied two doses of pemethrin ,applying moisture x calm lotion and taking antiastamines from 3 weeks.what should i do?

The itch of scabies is a reaction to the poop they deposit under the skin in their burrows. That itch will persist long after they are all dead. In time (days/weeks) the skin sheds this debris and returns to normal. Scrubbing the areas can help reduce the constant stimulation by residual materials. A re-check to look for new active burrows may be worthwhile.
