Just finished my 2nd dose of oral treatment for scabies (bc a friend had it). haven't been in my closet in 2 weeks; do i have to wash everything?

Officially, no: Officially, a person does not have to wash things because a scabies mite is supposed to die in 2-3 days if the mite is outside a person. However, because scabies is so miserably itchy, many people do wash their clothes, clean their furniture, etc... Two weeks away from the closet is enough time, but three weeks is fine too. It's more for peace of mind.
