Food allergy: Humans can survive just fine on a vegan or even limited vegan diets. The more limited your diet , the more likely you are to need a multivitamin to get some important minerals and vitamins. If you omit amimal protein from your diet, you need a good source of protein such as : legumes (peas, lentils, beans etc.) soy, tree nuts or seeds (sunflower). Eggs (esp. Egg white) are also a healthy choice.

Choices: Fish dilemma: how much is safe to eat (mercury, pcb's)? Very conservative 1-2 servings per week. How about other seafood? Beans? Alternative grains: rice, quinoa, rye? Really great vegan and no-gluten recipes online. Also food allergy network's great resource. Good luck.
