A member asked:

Can you have fibromyalgia without feeling any pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not really: But you would have had to have pain to get the diagnosis; it is by definition an issue of pain, so you may have had it and gotten better or just feel tired alot and think its fibromyalgia. Myalgia means muscle pain, the fibro part, i think, refers to spasms which can be palpable and cause trigger points, many ideas but is a "functional somatic syndrome"-pain out of proportion to tissue damage.
