Chronic Muscle Spasm: Imo fibromyalgia pain generated by chronically spastic muscle of upper & lower back trying to hold unstable musculoskeletal structure upright within gravitational field. Published in practical pain management (on line) in 2009, is my method of physical examination to demonstrate this instability; requires series of body posture observations. Spastic muscles develop painful ischemic trigger points.
