I am getting my teeth bonded soon for discoloration. will it be painful?

It shouldn't: Getting your teeth bonded for esthetic reasons should not be painful at all. Since a dental drill won't be used or used minimally, the tooth preparation for the bonding will not go near the dentin of the teeth where there are nerve fibers. Enamel has no nerve fibers in it so slight trimming of this will not hurt. It may feel funny, but won't hurt.

Very rarely.: Seldom painful if it is being done to close spaces or change color. Usually you are adding to the teeth and not drilling or removing tooth structure.
