Irritation: Stop using the bands and your problem should resolve, unless you have caused permanent damage to the bone or gingival tissue. The best way to treat orthodontic problems is to see an orthodontist.

Orthofill not good: Front gaps are commonly there because muscle attachments (frenums) and gum tissue keep the teeth apart. Orthofill rubber bands squeeze the tissue too hard and push it out or behind the teeth. You need to have the gum tissue or muscle attachment professionally trimmed away for gap closure to work. Orthofill is dangerous and lacks control. Your better off having an orthodontist help you.

See your dentist: Please immediately see your dentist and explain what you've done so that they can examine your situation. Do not wait.

Dangerous: Probably irritation of the incisive papilla. Elastics to close gaps between teeth usually cause gaps to open on the other side of the teeth, irritate the gum tissue between the teeth, and can slip up under the gums and cause gum recession. See your dentist asap to check for damage, then see an orthodontist for safe tooth movement.
