No: Waiting only 24 hours could cause serious complications, including turning a simple bladder infection into a more serious kidney infection. If your urine testing indicates a urinary tract infection, you should be treated as soon as possible. Also, if a woman has had a urinary tract infection before and thinks she may have another one, she is correct most of the time ! don't wait to get treated.

No: If you have a kidney infection that is untreated you can be very sick.
