Not urethritis: In men, urethral stinging or burning, without discharge, usuallyhas no known medical cause. With no UTI nor discharge, and with negative STD tests, usually this is a psychological issue, often anxiety over a regretted sexual experience. It could be prostatitis, which sometimes might respond to ciprofloxacin. But most prostatis isn't an infecion. I hope cipro works, but don't get your hopes up.
