Yes: 5 days of antibiotics is enough treat a urinary tract infection, what doctors call as "simple cystitis". It is not enough for complicated infection i.e. Not enough if fever, kidney pain, or if you have a stone disease. In these cases you need 10-14 days of antibiotics.
