Nope...thats good!: Hba1c reflects your sugar control over the last 90 days. 5.8 is actually normal. If you are a type 1 dm, then you are doing great.

Little high: Could suggest prediabetes if you don't have diabetes already, meaning you are at an increased risk for developing diabetes in the future.
