Is an a1c result of 5.8 bad? what can i do to bring it down ? and cutting out red meat would that bring the reg hemoglobin level to low ?

Usually we get concerned when the Hgb A1C is above 7. If your glucoses are running high would see your primary care doctor. Avoiding sugar and carbohydrates would probably help. Don't think cutting out red meat is the answer for your A1C.
