No set amount: The idea is calorie balance. Weight is a simple equation. Always has been and always will be. You can't cheat the equation with tricks or diet plans or supplements. To lose weight, eat less calories than you burn. So, either burn more or eat less but keep a healthy balance. First talk with your doc to see if you even need to lose and if it would even be healthy for you to do so.
