Not enough data yet: In a five year study, 122 patients who underwent surgery between february 2000 and february 2005 were evaluated. It was determined that cmc hydrogel implants have a higher radiotranslu-cency than silicone gel, and the integrity of this device was easy to prove by clinical examination. Not known: They are still gathering data on the implants. Typically it takes a long time, and a lot of resources to have a device be approved by the fda. The fda will take its time. It is almost impossible to predict when these might hit the market. http://www.jjrothmd.com/before-after/category/breast-augmentation.

Unlikely to be soon.: Breast implants require fda approval, and this seems to take an especially long time. Often, even after subcommittee approval, the final approval for breast implants can take years.

Fda is slow...: New breast implants will take time for the fda to process particularly after the mess in europe with the pip implants. Politics. :) http://www.Cosmeticsurgerytruth.Com/blog/?P=14632.

Not soon: The fda moves at its own pace when assessing and approving new drugs and devices. It took about 6 years for them to approve the new form-stable silicone gel implants! i wouldn't hold your breath on the arion implants.

Snow in Dubai?: Prediction of these implants on the market for public use would be like predicting it is going to snow in dubai. The usual process of the fda is slow, to try and minimize patient harm so if you really want these implants it may be the dreaded impossible to predict wait. Best not to let the bra hang, see your local plastic surgeon for the current available options.
