Possibly: Depending on the extent, not wanting to eat can be just part of a rational desire to loose weight. However there are many physical and psychological reasons for not wanting to eat, generally referred to as anorexia. Besides eating disorders, other psychological conditions include depression, phobia about choking, stress and anxiety. But it's best to get an exam first to rule out medical causes.
