No: This is the maximum dose and should be taken only on as needed basis , it is habit forming and if u take it every day will stop working.

Ambien (zolpidem): Not good idea. If it is not working, talk to your doctor about the extended release ambience-cr which comes in 12.5mg. Dose, or other meds.
