Avoid taking togethe: Best to avoid taking both Alprazolam & Zolpidem together in same 24hr period. In States, maximum dose for Zolpidem in women is 5mg nightly (recently lowered from 10mg http://www.webmd.com/sleep-disorders/news/20130515/fda-lower-ambiens-dose-to-prevent-drowsy-driving). Both together increase risk of next day over-sedation: check out http://www.drugs.com/interactions-check.php?drug_list=133-0,2333-0
