Not clear what you mean by "amnesia", and that can be reposted. Zolpidem is hypnotic and can suppress cognitive function. Stopping can disrupt your sleep pattern and affect cognition for a time. There is no permanent brain damage from using but would engage in a sleep hygiene program instead. (www.connect@healthtap.com)
