Family practice : Under drs supervision it may be ok. I would recommend taking trazedone by itself first. It is used for anxiety and insomnia. It might be allitle strong if you start out taking both right away.

Insomnia: I only recommend taking combinations of sedating medications under medical supervision. Trazodone and Ambien are sometimes used together. Was ambien alone or Trazodone alone not sufficient? Are you using excellent sleep hygiene?
