Use eye drops and: See your plastic surgeon. Swelling and incisional edema can restrict complete eyelid closure in early post-op blepharoplasty patients. Sometimes scars can contract, making closure and lid position problematic. Eyedrops during the day, lacrilube (artificial tears) ointment at night, and recheck with your surgeon asap is needed to make sure all is well. Btw, 31 is very young to undergo bleph; was this necessary?

Postop blurry vision: Definitely see your doctor asap. Blurred and double vision almost one month after surgery should be evaluated. Your doctor can check to see if you are healing properly, or if there is need for further evaluation by an ophthalmologist or other specialist.

See your doctor: See your doctor right away. Eye drops, taping of the eye, and tarsorraphy stitches may be options. In rare cases, after allowing swelling to fully resolve, another operation may be indicated.

Vision changes: If you are having vision changes after eyelid surgery, it is always a good idea to call your surgeon and make a arrangements to be seen. The sooner the better. What ever the cause, it is worth checking out to protect your vision.

Call your doc: Make sure there are no extraocular muscle injuries. Get an ophthalmologist exam as well.
