No, it could help.: Gargling with salt water shouldn't aggravate acid reflux. It could actually help by alleviating some of the inflammation in the the back of the throat and mouth that is brought on when acid travels up from the stomach. Happy gargling! cheers!

No: You should not be swallowing it. If you have a sore THROAT from the reflux salt water may feel irritating however it does not may the reflux more severe. Hope this is helpful! Dr Z
