See your doctor : Drinking too much water can cause you to lower your sodium (called hyponatremia). A blood test can determine your sodium level. If your sodium is low, it can make you feel sick, can cause mental status changes, and cause you to have a seizure. Talk to your doctor about your fluid requirements. You may only need about half of what you are currently drinking. It depends on your exercise and climate.
