Hysteroscopy: Hysteroscopy looks at the inside of the uterus. I'm not aware of needing to clean out your digestion (you do clean out your colon to get ready for a colonoscopy). If the procedure needs general anesthesia for some reason, then you will be asked to not eat or drink for some time before the operation.
