I've been on morphine for years;prescribed 15mg 3per day. i have cut back to 30mg per day, but just had a urinalysis that showed a high level. can gastric motility or esophagus problems cause morphine to stay in my system? i'm really careful?

Absorption of any medicine depends on many factors. But it should not be high in proportion to what you take in. Visit your prescriber and sort this out
