Ask your doctor: Since you have a doctor who is doing your egd, he/she is the best doctor to address your concerns and guide you further. I do not think increased reflux indicates gastric/esophagealcancer. It is not likely to develop so fast, if it is ever going to do.

Reflux is VERY: Common, cancer this short after negative egd very uncommon. Call the folks that did the egd, explain your symptoms, report what meds you are on, track frequency, duration, and associations with what you eat and stress. Smoke? Alcohol? In the mean time, use your meds, add liquid ant-acids until you see your doc.
